The series draws on the experience of Australian and international specialists who have worked closely with communities and professionals in implementing successful community participation processes. A dynamic community planning practitioner colleague based in Queensland Australia, Wendy Sarkissian (and Sarkissian Associates Planners) has been a co-consultant on several Red Road Consulting projects. Dr Sarkissian is an inspiring and engaging speaker, speaking to national and international audiences on a range about the future of organisations, planning and housing. The Planning Institute of Australia is the peak professional body for urban planners. As a member of PIA, Red Road Consulting adheres to the Code of Conduct and continuing professional development requirements of the "Certified Practicing Planner" program auspiced by PIA.

International Association for Public Participation (IAP2).
The International Association for Public Participation, working through its members (Red Road Consulting is a member), "helps organisations and communities around the world improve their decisions by involving those people who are affected by those decisions". Red Road Consulting participates in professional information sharing through IAP2-sponsored activities such as conferences (Décision Montréal in November 2006, for example) and training.
