The following is a sample of the project work that Red Road Consulting has been engaged to undertake in recent years. 2006-07:
Community consultation and capacity building support for the review of the Emerald District Strategy for Cardinia Shire Council. The project involved targeted consultations, a large public SpeakOut, the coordination of a small community research team and associated consultation and reporting activities.
   
2006-07:
Community consultation and capacity building support for the review of Melton Shire Council’s Small Townships Strategy, including staff induction workshop processes and four SpeakOuts in the small township communities of Exford, Diggers Rest, Rockbank and Toolern Vale, Victoria. The consultations all led to the development of four localised community plans.
 
2006:
Community and capacity building support for a series of six City of Whittlesea Mayoral Community Forums, held at various locations and with specific interest groups in the municipality. The Forums were part of an emerging annual process for Mayoral-community consultation and information and will support a wide range of Council planning activity.

Lecturer (with Wendy Sarkissian) for a week-long Masters intensive, Plans into Action, (a core subject in the urban planning Masters curriculum) at the University of Melbourne .

Coordination of consultation components and a Community Research Team (a peer
research and consultation group comprised of community members) for the review of the City of Port Phillip Municipal Public Health Plan.
 
2005-06:
Coordination of the development of a Late Night Framework for the City of Melbourne.

Coordination of consultation activities and development of a Braybrook Community
(Vision) Plan for Maribymong City Council.
 
2005:
Coordination of the consultation activities for the City of Maribymong Municipal
Strategic Statement (MSS) Review.
 
2004:
Co-design and implementation of the (re)Visioning Footscray process which involved over 500 local community members and stakeholders in expressing preferred futures for the “transit city” of Footscray, Australia. 2004:
Development of the draft Yarra Municipal Public Health Plan for the City of Yarra.
 
2002:
Coordination of the Cities of Hume and Whittlesea’s Growing Up in Cities children and youth community (peer) research project under the auspice of the global UN project.
 
2000-02:
Coordination of the Primary Care Partnership in Lower Hume, Victoria. Focused on
Health promotion strategies, better access to services strategies, partnership strategies and services planning protocols.
 
2000-05:
Development of a CPTED/community planning model, the Design In, which facilitates the active redesign of ‘contested space’ by professionals, advocates, and community. 1998:
Co-author of the award winning series, Community Participation in Practice, published by the Institute of Sustainability and Technology Policy at Murdoch University. Co-coordination of a partnership of four councils, the Victorian Department of Justice and a consultancy team in the production of Evaluating Community Safety: A Guide.
